1. What information do we collect?
Personal information you provide
Name, email address, username (for account creation and authentication).
Application data
Screen-time data, goals, usage history, app-blocking preferences, and progress.
This information is stored locally on your device.
For your convenience, it is also automatically backed up to your personal iCloud account so your data can be restored if you delete and reinstall the app.
Mindnest LLC does not have access to or control over the information stored in iCloud. Apple’s privacy policies apply to your use of iCloud.
In the future, we may introduce optional social or cloud features (for example, sharing your progress with others). If you choose to enable these features, your data may also be securely transmitted to and stored in our databases (e.g., Supabase) and, depending on your settings, may be visible to other users.
Push notification settings
With your permission, we may send you notifications related to your account, reminders, or app features. You can control these preferences in your device settings.
Limited device information (OS version, crash logs, diagnostics)
We may collect technical information to help troubleshoot problems, improve app performance, and maintain security.
Payment information
If you purchase a subscription, payment is processed securely through Apple. Screentox does not store your credit card number.

If you are in the EU/UK, we rely on:

We never sell your personal information.

Our servers are located in the United States. If you access Screentox from outside the U.S., your data may be transferred and processed in the U.S. and other countries. We take steps to protect your information consistent with this policy.

We retain your personal information as long as you have an account. When you delete your account, we either delete or anonymize your data unless longer retention is required by law (e.g., for tax/accounting purposes).

We use encryption and industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee complete protection against unauthorized access.
